Ed's early career was defined by an incredible success rate on the track and promising results as a professional on the road. At the age of 24, he has a promising career ahead of him and is looking forward to competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
In 2008, Ed proved himself to be one of the world's finest pursuit riders; the Barnsley rider was part of the unstoppable Team Pursuit squad that won gold medals at the World Championships, Olympics and finally the Manchester round of the World Cup.
Ed has carried his winning form into 2009 riding for Team Halfords Bikehut and clinching memorable victories in the Eddy Soens Memorial Road Race, one of the leading Premier Calendar events in the UK, the 2009 Tour Series and Blackpool Nocturne. The track season starts again in October with a World Cup event in Manchester where Ed hopes to continue his golden winning ways
