About Chris Tomlinson |
Chris showed great raw talent at both long and triple jumps from a young age, winning eight AAA age group titles. Despite breaking both his wrists in a weight training accident in 2002, he returned in April of that year to break Lynn Davies 34 year old British Long Jump record with 8.27m in Tallahassee - he further improved this in 2007, reaching a distance of 8.29m. He recently wed Lucia, who played the female lead in the West End hit Buddy and is also a former Miss Newcastle and a Miss England finalist. Apart from training and competing Chris has previously appeared on Sky Poker and Radio 5 Live and is a regular public speaker.
