Darius Knight plays table tennis and is an ambassador for sport in the UK, playing for Great Britain on the ITTF World Pro Tour, and in a Spanish Superleague.

Jade Jones

Silver Medal at the World Championships

Jade competes at senior level in Taekwondo. Last year she won a silver medal at the World Championships and is hoping for a place on Team GB at London 2012.

Jess is a track sprint cyclist focusing on the Team Sprint. She also competes in the individual event and Keirin.

Peter Waterfield

Pete will be going for Gold at the Commonwealth Games

In 2002, Pete became the senior European champion, achieved a ranking of fourth in the world and scooped gold at the Commonwealth Games. Two years later he and Leon Taylor came second at the World Cup and they both qualified for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. There they achieved the silver in the 10 metre synchronised diving event and Pete came fifth in the individual event. At the British Gas National Cup in Sheffield in February, 2010 Pete and his diving partner, Chris Mears, came first in the men’s three metre synchronised dive. Pete also won the men’s 10 metre synchronised dive with Max Brick and scooped the gold medal in the men’s 10 metre individual dive.

Ed Clancy

Ed played an important part in the GB Men's 4km Team Pursuit squad that included Geraint Thomas, Paul Manning and Bradley Wiggins. This amazing team beat all their competition and broke the world record to win a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

World Championship Silver Medallist

Daniel started his gymnastics career at just five years old and in 2009 had a fantastic year. He won silver medals at both the World and European Championships and won the British Championships.

Chris Tomlinson

British Long Jumper

27-year-old Long Jumper Chris Tomlinson represents one of the most exciting talents in British athletics today. He proved his world class status in Athens by placing 5th in the Olympics and recording the largest jump in history for a Brit in a major final.

Louis Smith

Olympic Bronze Medallist

On 9 August 2008 he qualified in 5th place for the Olympic final of the men's pommel horse, and on 17 August went on to win the Bronze Medal in that final, becoming the first Briton to win a medal in the individual gymnastics at the Olympic Games since Walter Tysall won a silver medal in 1908. He was also the first Briton to win a medal in gymnastics at the Olympic Games since the women's team won a bronze medal in 1928.

The Youngest European Diving Champion on Record

Tom Daley is Young Sports Personality of the Year. He competes in the 10metre individual and synchronised diving and is Great Britain’s second youngest competitor at the Olympic Games at just 14 years old.

Libby is a blind athlete, currently in the Great Britain Athletics Squad for the 100m and 200m sprints.

Leon Taylor won Silver at the Olympic Games in Athens with Peter Waterfield in the 10 metre synchronised platform and was 6th in the individual event.
