Solutions SK’s School Meals Team won the National Overall Best Education Catering Team of the Year award at the Annual Network Performance Awards organised by the Association for Public Service Excellence. The School Meals Team competed against more than 55 local authorities from across the country to win the prestigious award. Winningthis award demonstrates the drive and commitment shown by the team in their pursuit to deliver a professional service to customers. The award also shows that the School Meals service delivers value for money through recognised quality and performance indicators, linked to standards of excellence. Councillor Mark Weldon, Executive Member for Children & Young People, said: “Winning this award recognises further improvements that have taken place in the School Meals service over the last twelve months.
