Great prizes in healthy meal deal promotion
Secondary school pupils in Stockport have the chance to win greatprizes every day for four weeks in March in a new school mealspromotion.
Solutions SK, the school meals provider are running the promotion in 8secondary schools. Every time a student buys a £1.75 'Meal Deal' fromthe menu they are given a voucher with a unique code to enter into awebsite to see if they've won a prize.
At the end of each school day from March 1st-26th, the winners will beemailed. There are over 50 prizes ranging from £5 i-tunes vouchers toa Samsung digital camera, Samsung blu-ray disc player and an Applei-pod nano. And at the end of the promotion all entries - whether adaily winner or not - will be entered into a grand draw to win aNintendo Wii console and Wii Fit plus.
The promotion will be launched on Monday March 1st at Cheadle HulmeHigh School with special guest Matty Mainwaring from Stockport County.
Nic Cox, Managing Director of Solutions SK, said, “We are very keen topromote healthy eating amongst young people, and this promotion is aninnovative approach to achieving this. We will be able to measure theresults at the end of the promotion to see if it is a success."
The promotion is supported by the School Food Trust.
Stockport secondary schools taking part are: St Anne’s RC High, CheadleHulme High, Offerton School, Werneth School, Harrytown Catholic High,Stockport School, Marple Hall and St James' Catholic High.
