You Go for it secondary healthy meal deal promotion gets off to a great start 

Pupils at secondary schools in Stockport have the chance to win prizesevery day for the next four weeks in March as part of a new schoolmeals promotion.
 
Solutions SK, the borough’s school meals provider are running thepromotion in eight secondary schools. Every time a student buys a £1.75'Meal Deal' from the menu they are given a voucher with a unique codeto enter into a website to see if they've won a prize. At the end ofeach school day the winners will be emailed.

There are over 50 prizes ranging from £5 i-tunes vouchers to a Samsungdigital camera, Samsung blu-ray disc player and an Apple i-pod nano. And at the end of the promotion all entries - whether a daily winner ornot - will be entered into a grand draw to win a Nintendo Wii consoleand Wii Fit plus.
 
The promotion was launched on Monday 1st March at Cheadle Hulme HighSchool with Year 7 pupils, Kameron Burgess, Ciaran Berry, JacquesSalisbury, Jemma Heald and special guests Matty Mainwaring and BenDyson from Stockport County.
 
The competition got off to a great start with around 20 entries on thefirst day with three winners - Paul Smyth and Robert Wightman from StAnne’s RC High and Jordan Sumpter from Werneth High.  Paul won a £10amazon voucher, Robert won a £25 ticketmaster voucher and Jordan won a£15 i-tunes voucher.
 
Nic Cox, Managing Director of Solutions SK, said: “We are very keen topromote healthy eating amongst young people, and this promotion is aninnovative approach to achieving this.  We will be able to measure theresults at the end of the promotion to see how successful it has been.”
 
Cheadle Hulme High School Headteacher, Mrs Magrath, said: “We are veryhappy to be involved in this project, which encourages our pupils toeat healthily.”

The competion runs till the 26th of March.
