Having completed our eco-audit, Surrey Commercial Services have started reviewing our practices, with the aim to making our kitchens greener.

Our Schools are working closely with Vegware to source recyclable and biodegradable packaging to replace the existing products. Vegware make cutlery, plates, bowls and other disposable items.

Vegware cutlery is made from natural starch and fibres usually from potatoes or corn. Plates and bowls are made from bagasse- the fibrous residue left after sugar canes have been crushed.
